Hillsboro School Board Votes to Create a Part-Time Position
The School District of Hillsboro had its School Board meeting on Monday night. On the agenda, the board was to discuss creating a part-time elementary special education position. Superintendent Curt Bisarek said it was approved that a part-time special education aide position was to be posted. Bisarek also said there was some discussion regarding the preliminary budget for 2014-2015 school year. Right now, the budget shows about a $200,000 deficit at this point, but Bisarek said it is very tentative, and it still has many factors to figure in. The next regular school board meeting for Hillsboro will be April 14 at 7pm in the High School library.
