A Grand Marsh woman has been cited for failing to have control of her vehicle and going too fast for conditions. On October 21st, Kayde Heintz was traveling west on County Road M in the town of Lincoln. As she was leaving a curve, she saw a deer and swerved to miss it. Heintz left the roadway and entered the shoulder. She attempted to correct and re-renter the roadway, but she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle spun around and entered the ditch, coming to rest against a tree. Heintz refused medical transport to a hospital.
