Germantown voters advance 4 candidates
Town of Germantown voters went to the polls Tuesday to thin a field of five candidates for Town Supervisor to four. The top four vote-getters were incumbent Steve Gillespie with 102-votes, Jim Collis with 82, Gervase Thompson received 59-votes, and George Vukich – 35-votes. The candidate eliminated in the Spring Primary Election was Jim Marx with 33-votes. So Gillespie, Collis, Thompson, and Vukich advance to the April 5th General Election. Germantown Clerk/Treasurer Betty Manson said, “incumbent Town Supervisor Michael Poe did not run for re-election, but he did receive two write-in votes.”
