Friendship man arrested for OWI
A Friendship man was taken into custody for OWI-3rd offense. Police said last Wednesday night an officer initially stopped 46-year old Adam Hernandez in the City of Adams for operating his vehicle without headlights. The officer could detect a strong odor of intoxicants. A records check showed Hernandez was on parole and not allowed to consume or possess alcohol. Following a field sobriety test, Hernandez was arrested, place on a parole hold, and taken to the ER for a blood draw. He was then transferred to the Adams County Jail.
