Friday afternoon in the 700-block of Tremont Street in the City of Mauston law enforcement retrieved a 3 1/2 to 4-foot iguana from a residential bush. The man was pulling weeds with his kids when they noticed the iguana. Mauston Police Chief Mark Messer says, “we believe the animal is from the immediate area. Either it was lost or released, and we would like to get it back to its owner. If anyone has knowledge of the owner of the iguana, call the Mauston Police Department at 847-6363.”
