A former inmate of the Juneau County Jail was found guilty on two counts of possession of a controlled substance when she pleaded no contest to the charges. 32-year-old Raya Hansen appeared in court yesterday (on Tuesday) before Judge John Roemer. Judge Roemer sentenced Hansen to two years probation for each count, with the sentence withheld in both cases.  Hansen was also ordered to pay fines for each count.  In the spring of 2013, Hansen allegedly received concealed Suboxone strips underneath postage stamps. During the investigation Hansen admitted to lifting the stamps from the letters but denied receiving the narcotic.
