A fight occurred in a Juneau County Jail shower earlier this month.  The deputy said he witnessed an inmate, 29-year old Jeremiah Aponte of La Crosse, strike another inmate in the face in the upper shower in F-pod.  The cut above the inmate’s eye bled onto his shirt and required stitches.  Aponte was apparently annoyed with the other inmate’s frequent showering.  The annoyance turned into a pushing match that allegedly turned physical.
