Felon accidentally shot himself
A Wisconsin Dells man has been charged in Adams County with felon in possession of a firearm. According to the deputy’s report, in June 2012 47-year old Jay Krueger was trying to unload a shotgun from a Kubota utility vehicle located inside a pole shed on property along Highway 13 in the Town of Dell Prairie. The Mossberg 12-guage shot gun went off in his hand. Investigation revealed a blood trail from the pole shed, along the ground to where Krueger was sitting next to a tree. Krueger was medically transported for his gunshot wound. A records check showed in 2002 Krueger had been convicted in Columbia County for a felony hit and run charge.
