An emergency preparedness Full Scale Exercise will be held Saturday, April 6th, 2013 from 9am until noon in the southern part of Juneau County.  Emergency Management Director Gervase Thompson said, “Emergency Management in conjunction with the City of Elroy and Villages of Union Center and Wonewoc will host an emergency exercise.  In the Village of Union Center there will be increased emergency response vehicles throughout the community.  In the City of Elroy, activities will be taking place in the area near Heritage Manor and the United Methodist Church on Royall Avenue, by the IGA store and the Powerhouse on Franklin and County Road ‘O’.  Activities will be occurring in the area of Center Street by Baker’s Field, around West Street and at the High School on School Road in the Village of Wonewoc.  If possible, you should try to avoid these areas.”
