Due to the pending blizzard, the City of Elroy Administrator, Mark Steward, has officially declared a snow emergency for all City of Elroy streets.  The snow emergency will go into effect at 6am Thursday, December 20th, 2012 until Saturday, December 22nd, 2012, at noon.  The emergency means there will be no parking on any City Streets during this time so crews can clear the streets.  Violators are subject to a citation and/or towing of their vehicles.  Public parking lots and downtown areas will be opened without restriction during the normal parking hours.  Administrator Steward apologizes for any problems but it is necessary to get the snow cleared and try to avoid streets becoming closed.
