An Elroy man has been cited as a result of an incident in the City of Mauston.  Police said last Tuesday afternoon 46-year old Sean Moore was traveling west on Grayside Avenue and passed a vehicle in front of the high school and middle school campus going 77-miles per hour.  Moore told the officer he was speeding because he needed insulin from a house in Elroy before the people left.  Moore was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed, passing in a no-passing zone, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.  His fines totaled $367.20.
