A Chicago man was cited as a result of a car/tractor accident.  The deputy said Friday evening about 6pm 87-year old Anton Herrof was traveling south on County Road ‘K’ in the Town of Lemonweir.  As Herrof approached a tractor pulling a farm implement owned by Walsh Grain Farms, Herrof did not slow down and ran into the back of the implement.  The 2000 red-colored Buick sedan became stuck.  The front of the car was damaged.  The farm implement had minor damage.  The driver of the tractor, a Mauston man, 47-year old William Dedrich, was uninjured.  Herrof and a passenger, 86-year old Maria Herrof, were also uninjured.  Herrof was cited for ‘auto following too closely’ and fined $200.50.
