Juneau County authorities investigated a duck hunting accident that occurred earlier this week.  The deputy said Sunday morning he responded to Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston for a reported hunting injury.  Investigation revealed a 16-year old boy along with 5-others were duck hunting on a slough of the Lemonweir River in the Town of Clearfield near County Road M.  A friend of the family had shot an injured duck and the pellets ricocheted off the water striking the 16-year old.  He had been hit 9-times with 2-pellets in the face.  The report was forwarded to the Juneau County Conservation Warden.
