Drug investigation leads to arrests
Two Tomah men have been arrested as a result of a drug overdose investigation. Police said, “last week a non-fatal heroin overdose resulted in the excecution of a search warrant at 814 Cedar Lane in the City of Tomah, the residence of 33-year old Donald Frantzen. Frantzen returned home while police were serving the search warrant. Upon police contact, Frantzen attempted to discard a baggie containing 10-grams of heroin that he recently purchased in the Chicago area. Frantzen had purchased the heroin to sell in Tomah. Frantzen was booked into the Monroe County Jail on heroin trafficking charges and bail jumping. 22-year old Shelton Hughes was also arrested and tentatively charged with bail jumping.”
