A Wonewoc man was taken into custody last week for domestic abuse. The deputy said last Thursday, September 26th, 2013, 36-year old Sean Kaske allegedly got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend as a result of a cell phone alarm not sounding to wake him for work. Kaske allegedly attempted to choke her and handcuffed her to the bed. Kaske released her after several minutes and she was able to find an opportunity to text her mother. Kaske denied anything physical occurred between the two, just a verbal argument. During the investigation law enforcement were able to locate the handcuffs and handcuff key on the bedroom dresser. They also located twenty large marijuana plants growing behind the barn. Kaske was arrested and transported to the Juneau County Jail. He has been charged with strangulation, false imprisonment, intimidation of a victim, possession of TCH with the intent to deliver, and battery. During a court hearing Friday, September 27th, 2013, bail was set at a $5000 cash bond and Kaske is to have no contact with the victim or her family.
