A rural New Lisbon father and son were arrested last week for disorderly conduct and misdemeanor battery. According to the criminal complaint, last Thursday a deputy responded to a residence on 37th Street in the Town of Orange. Investigation revealed 53-year old Gary Hetland and 33-year old Eric Hetland had gotten into a wrestling match resulting in the breaking of a window in a door. The father told the deputy that his son had not been taking his anti-seizure medication. The son told the deputy that his father is manipulative and very controlling and that he had been taking his medication. Both men were arrested and transported to the Juneau County Jail. During a court hearing Monday, bail was set at a $1000 signature bond for both men.
