A New Lisbon man has been charged with selling marijuana to a confidential informant.  According to the criminal complaint, in August the undercover agent purchased 3.5-grams from 23-year old Tye Smith for $60.  The substance tested positive for THC.  Smith is summoned to appear in court on October 23, 2013.  Last month, Smith was walking in the City of New Lisbon and swore at a police officer stopped at the red traffic light.  The officer warned Smith about his language and noticed he was holding a cup of beer.  Further investigation revealed Smith had a pot pipe and a small baggy of cocaine in an empty cigarette box.  He was arrested and transported to the Juneau County Jail.  He has also been charged with possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct.
