A Crivitz man has been charged in Adams County with forgery and misdemeanor theft.  According to the criminal complaint, in April 2012 33-year old Joseph Lynch allegedly sold a German Shepherd dog without the owner’s consent for $500.  He also allegedly forged the owner’s name on the pedigree registration transfer application.  Lynch is being charged as a repeat offender.  A records check showed Lynch had been convicted in 2009 in Walworth County on a felony auto theft charge.
