Coughlin in court
A Juneau County Judge heard motions Thursday morning prior to the two-week trial of a Lyndon Station man accused of sexually abusing minors. 56-year old Donald Coughlin’s trial begins the end of July and Judge John Roemer ruled on motions filed by the Special Prosecutor in the case, Assistant Attorney General Winn Collins, regarding jury instructions and the witness list. Coughlin’s defense attorney told the court he would subpoena one of the State’s witnesses to testify for the defense during the scheduled 9-day trial. The defense also requested psychological reports of the victims. The court will rule on that motion on July 16th, 2013.
