Congressman Sean Duffy was in Necedah Saturday afternoon for a Town Hall Meeting.  Duffy, who represents the 7th Congressional District, met with constituents at the Vets Hall.   Twenty interested citizens asked the Congressman about illegal immigration, Social Security benefits, wasteful spending in Washington D.C., defunding the Affordable Healthcare Act, and slowing the growth of government.  Duffy says, “The House of Representatives has passed a bill that balances the budget in 10-years.  The U.S. Senate has also passed a different bill.  Now the two are in Conference to find common ground on the differences.”    Duffy, a Republican, a former MTV reality show personality, Ashland County District Attorney, a professional Lumberjack athlete, and ESPN color commentator for the Great Outdoor Games, also said, “The House has voted to defund ObamaCare and repeal it, but the U.S. Senate has not taken up the bill, and even it passed, the President would never sign it.”
