A New Lisbon man was moderately injured as a result of a car/deer accident Monday night.  The deputy said at 9:45pm 25-year old Andrew Georgeson was traveling north on Highway 58 near 43rd Street in the Town of Lemonweir when a south bound vehicle struck a deer that launched it into the air.  The deer struck the windshield of Georgeson’s 2012 Chevy Cruz.  The deer smashed out the windshield and the internal organs exploded into the passenger compartment.  Georgeson slammed on the brakes and the deer slid off the vehicle and the car then ran over it, lodging the deer under the vehicle.  Georgeson received cuts to his arm from the broken windshield glass.  He was privately transported to the ER at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston.
