Car slides into corn field
A Baraboo woman was injured as a result of a one-vehicle accident Monday night. The deputy said at 8:20pm 40-year old Netra Crump was traveling north on Highway 12/16 near Morrisey Road in the Town of Lyndon. As she was rounding a curve, Crump encountered ice on the roadway. The 1997 Toyota Camry began to slide sideways and entered a harvested corn field. The tires caught traction causing the car to roll twice before coming to rest on its wheels. Crump was medically transported to Mile Bluff Medical Center.
