Camp Douglas residents violating property maintenance
The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office sent letters to six Camp Douglas homeowners or residents regarding violating the Village Ordinance concerning property care and maintenance. The violations included rotten or unsafe front steps, weeds around the house above
6-inches, junk items in the driveway, an unlicensed moped, unused lawn mowers, a residence missing weather resistant siding, house paint worn down to the wood, vehicles with expired license plates, a broken window on the front door, old tires outside, and dead tree branches and limbs in piles. The homeowner or resident has between 10 to 60-days to rectify the violation or be fined $169.00.
