Brooks hires new staff member
contributed…..Madison…Rep. Ed Brooks (R-Reedsburg) announced on Tuesday the hiring of Jeff Schultz to his legislative staff. Jeff will be working in Representative Brooks’ office in 2013 while full-time staff member John Flynn completes his military commitment overseas. “Jeff’s experience working in the State Treasurer’s Office as well as his rural Monroe County background make him a good fit for our team,” said Brooks. “As always, my office remains committed to caring for constituent needs.” Schultz graduated from Beloit College in 2007 with a degree in Political Science and History. His most recent work in Wisconsin State Government was a 14 month stint as Executive Assistant to State Treasurer Kurt Schuller. Rep. Brooks begins his third term in office and will serve as chair of the Assembly Committee on Urban and Local Affairs, vice-chair of Public Safety and Homeland Security and has also been appointed to the Assembly Committees on Agriculture, Corrections and Veterans for the 2013-14 session. Constituents are invited to contact Rep. Brooks with their thoughts and concerns by calling his Madison office toll free, 888-534-0050, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
