Brakes fail, car strikes haybine

A Mauston teenager was involved in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday night.  The deputy said about 7:30pm 16-year old Charitee Seebecker was traveling south on County Road ‘J’ in the Town of Kildare.  As she rounded a curve, the brakes on the 1995 Oldsmobile she was driving failed.  The car entered the ditch, struck a road sign and  haybine.  The windshield and front driver’s side of the vehicle was damaged.  The haybine was also damaged.  Seebecker was uninjured.
