The court modified bail for a Necedah man charged with sexual assault of a minor.  During a motions hearing Tuesday afternoon, Juneau County Judge John Roemer had no objection and reduced bail from a 25-thousand dollar cash bond to 5-thousand dollars for 50-year old Douglas Fischer.  The funds were posted by a 3rd party and the 20-thousand dollar difference will be returned.  The court also approved the defendant’s request to stop making weekly check-ins at the Sheriff’s Office.  Fischer is scheduled for a jury trial in August 2013.
