A trailer jackknifed on the Interstate between Mauston and Lyndon Station over the weekend.  The deputy said Saturday morning about 6am an Illinois driver, 69-year old Dwight Pawlowski, was traveling east on I90/94 near mile marker 72 when he lost control and the 2013 Ford Explorer drifted into the guard rail.  The SUV was pulling a boat on a trailer.  The trailer jackknifed into the lane of traffic.  Pawlowski told the deputy he either ‘blacked out’ or had fallen asleep.  He was cited for ‘inattentive driving’ and fined $187.90.
