A Baraboo man has been sentenced for armed bank robbery. The U.S. Attorney’s Office said 32-year-old Richard Hindes was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge William Conley in Madison to 15 years in prison for a June 16th, 2011 Wells Fargo bank robbery in Baraboo. During the robbery, Hindes pointed a gun at two separate tellers. He then fled in a stolen vehicle and was arrested two days later in a Milwaukee suburb. The charges were the result of an investigation by the FBI, Baraboo Police Department, and West Allis PD. Hindes had pleaded guilty to the charge on April 12th, 2012.
