A Baraboo man was arrested for the burglary of a Town of Necedah residence early Wednesday morning.  The deputy said he responded to a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of 18th Avenue and County Road ‘G’.  Investigation revealed 50-year old Mark Ellwitz had crashed his silver colored van.  A witness told authorities that Ellwitz and a second man wearing red shorts and no shirt had exited the vehicle.  The second man fled the accident scene by running into the woods and he could not be located.   Investigation revealed Ellwitz had allegedly gained entry into the residence on 18th Avenue by breaking the glass window and stole a TV which was recovered in the van.  Ellwitz was medically transported to Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston.  A Preliminary Breath Test showed .148%.  He was medically cleared and transported to the Juneau County Jail.  During a court hearing, bail was set at a $10,000 signature bond and Ellwitz is to maintain absolute sobriety.
