Auto following too closely
Road conditions were contributing factors resulting in a minor crash in the City of Mauston. The officer said Sunday about noon a Mauston man, 56-year old David Butterfield, was traveling north on Lincoln Street when he slid into the rear of a 1999 Cadillac stopped at the Sherman Street stop sign being operated by a Lyndon Station woman, 58-year old Lutrelle Manna. The impact caused minor damage and no one was injured. Butterfield was cited for ‘auto following too closely’ and fined $114.00.
