Adams County authorities are looking for a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery.  Sheriff Sam Wollin said, “last Tuesday night, December 18th, 2012, about 11:15am a man with a bandanna covering his face forced entry into a home on 10th Avenue in the Town of Preston.  The man, armed with a knife, entered through the front door and held the occupants at knife point, demanding money.  However, when the victims told the intruder they did not have any money, he exited the house and left on foot.  No one was injured in the incident.”  The suspect is a white male in his late 20s to mid 30s, about 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighing over 200-pounds with brown eyes.  The man was wearing a dark colored plaid flannel jacket, a stocking cap with a bandanna covering his face.  The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone with information to contact the office at 608-339-3304.  The public can remain anonymous by calling the Adams County Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-877-524-5846.  You may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1000.
