Beyond the Daily Grind Cafe & Coffeshop owner Bunny Sweeny poses with 7th District Representative Daniel Reimer, 79th District Representative Dianne Hesselbein, and 81st Assembly Distrist Representative Fred Clark

Three Democratic State Representatives stopped in downtown Mauston Thursday to talk about the state budget which recently passed in the Assembly on a 55 to 42-vote.  81st Assembly District Representative Fred Clark of Baraboo, 7th Assembly Representative Daniel Riemer, and 79th Assembly Representative Dianne Hesselbein of Middleton, 3 of the 42 representatives who voted ‘no’,  told WRJC at the Beyond the Daily Grind coffeshop that the state budget expands private vouchers statewide and rejects a federally funded expansion of Badgercare. The budget will hurt the middle class and does not reflect the values of most Wisconsin residents.
