Arson is suspected in two fires in Monroe County.  Sergeant Ron Rader said, “a structure fire was reported early Friday morning about 2am at 12553 Funnel Road in the Town of Bryon.  All six apartments in the building are rented and none of the occupants were injured in the fire.  A second fire burned concurrently in a dumpster located at the end of the driveway of the property.  The cause of both fires are under investigation and arson is suspected.”  Assisting the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department were the Oakdale, Cutler, and Camp Douglas Fire Departments, the Oakdale First Responders, the Tomah Area Ambulance Service, the State Fire Marshall, and Gerke Excavating.
