An Oxford man has been charged with strangulation, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, misdemeanor battery, and bail jumping. The deputy said last month he and another deputy responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed 36-year old Thomas Heredia had allegedly gotten into a physical altercation with his live-in girlfriend and threatened her with a knife. Heredia was arrested and transported to the Adams County Jail. During a court hearing, bail was set at a $10,000 cash bond.
