Area graduates receive Masonic Scholarships
contributed….CAMP DOUGLAS,WI: Camp Douglas Masonic Lodge 272, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation, recently presented two area high school graduates with Wisconsin Masonic Scholarships. Each student received a grant of $500 to attend the college or technical school of his or her choice. Graduates receiving the scholarships included: Elizabeth Wagenson graduated fromTomah High School. The daughter of Paul and Lana Wagenson,Camp Douglas, she will be attending Luther College, majoring in Biology.Elizabeth plans to pursue a career in medicine to become a Neonatologist.
Daniel Rattunde is a graduate ofNecedah High School. He is the son of Daryl and Annette Rattunde, Necedah. Daniel will attend University of Wisconsin- Baraboo, to earn a degree in Natural Resources. He plans to continue in the UW system to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources and plans to become a Conservation Warden. Elizabeth and Daniel are among 200-plusWisconsinstudents who are receiving similar scholarships this year. The Wisconsin Masonic Foundation and local Masonic Lodges have provided scholarships to deserving students for many years, provided in part through gifts from Genevieve Collins, Estelle Jenkins and George and Sara Walter.
