The Juneau County Advanced Leadership Program graduated its 10th class of participants Wednesday. The graduates were recognized at a ‘Lunch and Learn Educational Program’ held at the UW-Extension Conference Room in Mauston. The guest speaker was CEO of Culver’s Restaurants, Craig Culver. Each participant in ALP is required to develop a project. One of the participants, Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center HR Director, Rhonda Olson Schroeder, along with Diane Kropiwka, who works at Mauston City Hall, collaborated on their community project. Schroeder said, “Our project is the Juneau County Community Choir. We want to offer a culteral experience and avenue for people to share their talents. Everyone in Juneau County and surrounding counties are invited to participate. Our first practice is July 25th, 2013 at the Mauston High School choral room at 7pm. We are still looking for choir members, directors, and accompanists. Our first performance will be at the Mauston Riverside Park Dedication on August 23rd, 2013 where the choir will sing the National Anthem.”
