The Adams-Friendship School District has received a mathematics partnership grant. It will be partnered with Marian University and Wautoma School District. According to the Department of Public Instruction, mathematics and science teachers will be gaining knowledge and skills to increase student achievement through this grant. District Administrator Rick Waski says the district is looking forward to the grant. ” I really think it’s gonna help us as we develop new strategies in teaching math both in our district and I know Wautoma is really excited too,” said Waski. These programs encourage scientifically based professional development as a means for improving student academic performance.
