Sheriff Sam Wollin said, “on Thursday, September 27th, 2012, deputies searched a residence and property on Czech Avenue in the Township of Preston and seized a large quantity of cultivated marijuana plants. The owner, 50-year old Ronnie Cole, was taken into custody for manufacturing THC, a felony. Then on Friday, October 5th, 2012, deputies executed a search warrant on County Road ‘A’ in the Township of New Chester and removed 30-cultivated marijuana plants from the property. The resident, 49-year old Phillip Revels, was arrested for manufacturing and delivery of THC.” Sheriff Wollin thanks a concerned citizen and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office for the cooperative efforts and the sharing of information that lead to the arrests and removal of the illegal drugs.
