Two Adams citizens were arrested for possession of methamphetamine. On Monday, a traffic stop for improper registration was conducted by Adams County Sheriff’s deputies on Highway 13 in the Town of Preston. K9 Deputy Simmons and his partner Lya responded to the stop. Lya was deployed and alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics emitting from the vehicle. The ensuing investigation alleges 55-year-old Milan Milanovich and 37-year-old Shayne Davis were in possession of methamphetamine, prescription medication not belonging to them and marijuana and methamphetamine paraphernalia. The two were taken into custody.

The following alleged charges are being requested with the Adams County District Attorney’s Office: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Prescription Drug without a Prescription and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
