An accident occurred in the City of Adams last week.  Police said a Friendship man, 38-year old Thomas Peterson, was traveling south on Highway 13 at the Lincoln Street intersection.  As Peterson merged into the right lane, his 1996 Chevy Cirrus sideswiped a 1995 Ford Windstar van being driven by an Adams man, 60-year old John Hunt.  No one was injured and no citations were issued.
