Donated lighted fountain enhances Village of Necedah park--photo contributed

The Village of Necedah has accepted an anonymous donation.  Village President Jim Rattunde said, “someone donated $10,000 for a gated fence recently installed around the playground equipment at Old Mill Park in downtown Necedah.”  Rattunde said, “the major attraction is a fountain/aerator installed in the pond near the Old Mill Park.  It shoots water almost 30-feet into the air and at night the lights add spectacular color.  These additions were 100% funded by private money—no tax money was used and installation was done by volunteers.  Donations are needed to operate the fountain and can be made at the Necedah Village Hall.”
