Necedah man cited multiple times for accident
A Necedah man received multiple citations as a result of an accident in the City of Mauston earlier this month. Police said on Friday, August 6th, 24-year old Montey Stratton, Jr. backed a tan-colored SUV into a white vehicle, registered to Mary Lubinski of Mauston, parked in the lot behind Randall’s Uptown Bar. Stratton left the scene and did not report the accident. Police contacted Stratton’s mother, Cynthia Stratton, about the incident. She was cited for obstructing an officer and fined $250. Montey Stratton, Jr. was cited for ‘Hit and run’, for ‘Failure to notify police of accident’, for ‘Operating motor vehicle without insurance’, for ‘Operating while revoked’, and for ‘Unsafe backing of vehicle’. His fines totaled $1,290.
