The Mauston School Board is forced to make $490,000 in budget cuts.  The Administrative Team has made these proposed cuts.  Discussion will be ongoing until a final decision has to be made by the first of June.   Superintendent Steve Smolek anticipates additional cuts each year until the Board decides to go to referendum or possibly close a school in the future.
