Juneau County Dispatch Supervisor Lisa Lutz gives testimony Thursday morning before the Sheriff's Committee.
The Lieutenant Jeremy Haske employee disciplinary hearing resumed Thursday morning in Mauston in the Juneau County Boardroom in the Courthouse. Juneau County Sheriff Brent Oleson has called for the firing of Haske for insubordination, being untruthful, and failing to report the alleged knee-slapping incident between then Undersheriff John Weger and Dispatch Supervisor Lisa Lutz in a timely manner. Lutz continued her testimony Thursday morning before the Juneau County Sheriff’s Committee. Haske secretly recorded a conversation he had with Lutz 10-days after the incident. The Grievance Committee heard the 30-minute recording. During cross-examination….Lutz testified she felt the knee-slapping incident had been blown out-of proportion and Haske was using her as a pawn because of the bad blood between Haske and Weger.

Emily Haske swears to tell the truth during her husband's employee disciplinary hearing.
“She was a 17-year old girl infatuated with my husband who could not get past the fact we were married.” That is how Haske’s wife, Emily, described Jenny Doe’s actions in March 2000 during testimony Thursday afternoon in the employee disciplinary hearing against her husband. Sheriff Brent Oleson is alleging Haske had a sexual relationship with the then minor which Haske has denied under oath. Emily Haske said that during a two-week period in March 2000….Jenny Doe and her friend, Jane Doe, would slow down and drive past her and her husband’s house in New Lisbon numerous times. At one point, the two girls even stopped the car, got out, and started banging on her door. She testified that she had to change their phone number to an unlisted and unpublished number because Jenny Doe would call their house 12-times a day. Emily Haske denied ever speaking with the Sheriff about the matter or a dispatcher. She did testify that she had contacted then Lieutenant Steve Coronado. Emily also denied knowing anything about her husband and Shane Jefferies socializing at Jefferies’ apartment in March 2000 with the then two 17-year old girls. Jeremy Haske’s attorney, Shawn Mutter, has been instructed by Sheriff’s Committee Chair, Herb Carlson, to conclude her case in defense of her client by 4:15pm Friday afternoon.
