Alcohol not believed to be a factor in prom night crash

VIROQUA, Wis. (AP) – The Vernon County sheriff says the driver

of a car that crashed near Viroqua and killed two teens on prom

night apparently wasn’t drinking alcohol. Authorities say they did

find an unopened bottle of alcohol in the car following Saturday’s

crash, but don’t believe it was a factor in the fatal accident.

Killed were 17-year-old Nathan Gunderson and 18-year-old Arrow

Wildhack.
