The Adams County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Local 355 of the Wisconsin Professional Police Association is endorsing Sam Wollin for sheriff.  The union invited all three Democratic Sheriff’s Candidates to complete a questionnaire.  Candidates Herb Gies and Sam Wollin answered the questions, while incumbent Sheriff Darrell Renner declined any endorsement, citing conflicts of interest and the need to stay neutral.  The members of the union were allowed to view the questionnaire answers and voted by ballot.  Based on the balloting, the Adams County Deputy Sheriff’s Association has, by a majority vote, chosen to endorse Wollin for sheriff.  The deputies’ union is asking for Adams County residents to vote for Wollin in the upcoming democratic September 14th primary election.
