Wis. soldier death in Afghanistan ruled suicide

APPLETON, Wis. (AP) – A military investigation has concluded that a Wisconsin soldier who died in Afghanistan last year killed himself. The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command this spring found that 25-year-old Army Staff Sgt. Garrick Eppinger of Appleton died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
